With so many shifts going on in our inner and outer worlds taking place these days, getting the body active or keeping it moving is Muy Importante. Here are five tools below to head you in the right direction. Pick a number, any number below or make up you own and take some action. Remember if you have any resistance going on, there is never a right time. If you’ve been procrastinating, the right time is now.
- Find a way to laugh your ass off. Maybe a movie? A comedian? An improv show? Spend time with someone that makes you laugh? Play with a bunch of kids? Take the time, do it and you’ll be back in your body in no time.
- Before your mind says Nah… Put on some music you love to groove to and DANCE! Feel those feet stompin, let your soul shake and sing the mind chatter out and take back that positive vibe real estate under that skin.
- Get out in nature. Go find a forest, a beach, something bigger than your thoughts and imagine everything melting off of you that’s been consuming your brain space and holding your body tight. Empty it out and then fill up with some Aahhhh inducing Mama Nature Nourishment. Not sure how? Just get that imagination rolling and let it flow.
- Go wrestle. Find someone to roll around with. Maybe it’s an all out hard core wrestling match, maybe its some primal luvin’ maybe its simply a tackle hug. There are plenty of people out there who’d be willin. Go get ‘em tiger!
- Do Anything Athletic.- Go run around a bit. Take a dance class. Go to the gym. Play some soccer, bounce on a pogo stick, ultimate frisbee, volleyball. Anything to get that heart pumping with action and you moving.
